Feelin'

Along with recipes, health tips and fitness moves, I want to share my journey mentally and emotionally too.  I am not certain though that people want to read it, but I do feel like people will understand me more and possibly can relate. Other than the physical transformations, I feel like more happens inside and I want to explore that.

I have always been an active kind of person, sports, running and outside "stuff." The thing that really kicked my ass was nutrition, I was so active that I thought I could eat and drink whatever I wanted! Like most of us~

I became a spin instructor at a small studio in Lake Oswego OR, loved it and still do! I def was not the skinniest of the bunch and I didnt really even care lol but after teaching 6-8 times a weak, I began to have NO ENERGY and my body was not changing.. Not cool when you are working out so much, right?!?

After getting blood work done, I found of that I depleted my iron, thyroid, vit D and I had no cholesterol in my diet. "Diet"... I hated that word and didnt even understand how important it was until I completely screwed up my body. Well it was time for a change for sure, I was almost 30 and my body was almost 50.. Not cool!

So it was time for a change, thats when I met the fix that "fixed" me.

Stay tuned!

Gluten free dessert quesadilla

I have the biggest sweet tooth! I try to keep it gluten free but bring on the DARK chocolate ✔️✔️  2 corn tortillas  1 tablespoons dark chocolate chips  1/2 banana sliced  1 tsp of coconut sugar  1 tsp butter (spray butter)  Two pumps of spray butter on pan Place corn tortillas on pan and sprinkle half of the coconut sugar with sho plate chips on one side of tortilla  Place sliced bananas on top and add remaining ingredients and place other tortilla on top.  Take a spatula and press firmly on quesadilla, flip and repeat!  Slice and enjoy!  For those doing the 21 day fix:  1 yellow  1 purple  2 tablespoons  The sugar is technically a "cheat" but let's get real ;)

2B Mindset

4 years ago.. a spin instructor, overworking out and under eating. I was put on medications for the lack of nutrition. I struggled with binge eating, smoke to lose weight and had a terrible relationship with food!  All the years of restricting myself or overeating caught up with me. I was left exhausted, depleted and desperate.   But, 4 years ago, I learned how to turn food into fuel so I could FEEL better and live my best life. I used portion control and clean eating to go off medications and have a better relationship with food BUT still have struggled with the scale and balance.  NEXT WEEK, I learn how to take all of those negative cognitions around food and remove them from my life... for good.  The 2B Mindset Weight Loss Program, coming May 2, 2018, is a breakthrough weight loss program that will have you feeling full and satisfied not hungry and deprived. No more counting calories, points, measuring food or cutting food groups. You g...
